Canning Against Cancer (CAC) is a new project under BABC, Inc. As many of us know, there are thousands of people suffering from a lack of nutritious meals because they simply can't afford it. Food stamps and other programs can help, but not everyone qualifies for those services.
So, in an effort to help fight hunger, Bikers Against Breast Cancer has a new program to help our applicants.
Canning Against Cancer is designed to provide temporary assistance to our applicants who need food. Cancer patients have special dietary needs. So, they can't eat just anything.
Can goods and monetary donations are needed.
We are asking for donations of rice, boxed potatoes, low salt, low sugar canned goods and monetary donations to provide a food card to our applicants that can be used in the most popular food chains across the country.
