Question: Is Bikers Against Breast Cancer a non-profit organization?
Answer: Yes, we are a registered non-profit in the state of New Jersey
Question: Do you have a 501c3 tax exempt status?
Answer: Not yet, but we expect to have it by June 2010
Question: Do I have to be a biker to receive funding assistance?
Answer: No, any one can apply, even if you're not a biker.
Question: Do I have to live in New Jersey to receive assistance?
Answer: No, we assistance people all over the country.
Question: What if I have another type of cancer, can I still receive help?
Answer: Yes, we assist people with any type of cancer, not just Breast Cancer.
Question: How many times can I apply?
Answer: Right now, we can only assist each applicant one time.
Question: How much can I receive from your program?
Answer: Each applicant can receive a maximum amount of $300.00
Question: Will the money come directly to me?
Answer: No, the funding goes directly to the vendor of the bill you would like us to pay.
Example: If you submit your telephone bill, payment will go to the telephone company.
Question: Do I have to pay any of this money back?
Answer: Absolutely not, this our gift to you.
Question: Can I dontate money to this organization without becoming a member?
Answer: Absolutely, we welcome donations from all funding sources, individual, business
Corporate, or club.
Question: Can I received assistance from your program if I have medical insurance?
Answer: Yes, although our primary goal is to assist with your household expenses
you can use the funding to pay a medical co-payment to a doctor or hospital.
Question: Will this affect my disability or Social Securtiy Benefit?
Answer: No, this is a one time mini-grant which is only available one per applicant.
Question: Besides the grant assistance, do you offer any other help or support?
Answer: Yes, periodically, we receive canned goods and other non-perishable items
